Data & Methodologies

The world's first forensic, task-level AI impact system — built for real people, not data scientists.

WILLAI isn't another opinion-based automation forecast. It's a bottom-up, task-level model built from the same job data used by governments, economists, and Fortune 500 companies — but translated into something everyone can understand.

Here's the friendly overview.

1. Where Our Job Risk Data Comes From

We analysed:

922
occupations
57,326
real work tasks
233.3M
workers
$15.8T
in wages

62 tasks per job (on average)

This is the deepest level of job analysis possible — far beyond job titles or job summaries.

2. How We Measure AI Capability (PDI)

For every single task, we asked advanced AI models:

Can AI fully perform this?

Can AI assist with it?

Or can AI not do this due to physical, interpersonal, safety, or legal constraints?

These evaluations are then weighted:

Tasks 70%
Detailed Work Activities 20%
Work Activities 10%

Adjusted for:

  • Regulation
  • Clinical/medical licensing
  • Physical presence
  • Safety-critical decision-making

This gives our Process Disruption Index (PDI) — what percentage of the job is technically "AI-touchable".

3. How We Measure AI Adoption

Next, we layer in real-world usage data from Microsoft Copilot tools. This tells us where AI is already being used successfully across industries.

WILLAI Risk Index Formula:

WILLAI Risk = (0.6 × PDI) + (0.4 × AI Adoption)

This gives you your job's present-day exposure — not hypothetical future predictions.

4. Your Job Risk Tier

After scoring each job from 0–100%, we categorise them:

🟢

Green (AI-Resistant)

≤12% — Mostly human-driven work
🟠

Amber (AI Co-Pilot Zone)

13–50% — AI can assist or streamline major tasks
🔴

Red (Danger Zone)

≥51% — AI can perform most of the role (none here yet)

This is the simplest and most truthful way to show AI risk today.

5. How Your Personal ARQ Score Is Calculated

Your AI Resilience Quotient blends:

Skills Adaptability

10%

Maximum 14 points

🟢 ≥11 points = High adaptability
🟠 6-10 points = Moderate adaptability
🔴 ≤5 points = Low adaptability

Financial Stability

30%

Maximum 42 points

🟢 ≥30 points = Strong stability
🟠 15-29 points = Moderate stability
🔴 ≤14 points = Vulnerable position

Your Job Risk (via WILLAI)

60%

Maximum 84 points

PDI Conversion Formula:

PDI Points = 84 × (1 - WILLAI Risk Score / 100)

This converts your job's 0-100% risk into 0-84 resilience points

🟢 ≤12% risk = High job security
🟠 13-50% risk = Job transformation likely
🔴 >50% risk = Severe disruption likely

Final ARQ Calculation

ARQ = Skills Points (14 max) + Financial Points (42 max) + PDI Points (84 max)
0-140 points

Higher score = more prepared for the AI era

Component Weights:

• Skills: 10% (14 points) • Financial: 30% (42 points) • PDI: 60% (84 points)

Overall ARQ Tiers:

🟢

High Resilience

105-140 points — Well-positioned for AI era

🟠

Exposed but Adaptable

70-104 points — Need strategic preparation

🔴

Severe AI Risk

0-69 points — Urgent action required

ARQ gives the full picture: not just how risky your job is, but how ready you are to adapt.

6. Re-Scored Every 3 Months

Because AI evolves constantly, we recalculate:

  • Every job
  • Every task
  • Every risk tier
  • Every ARQ score
  • Every recommended AI prompt

No other public tool updates this fast.
